Commands

Here is a list of all the commands available in Demo Time.

Demo Time: Open Demo Time documentationOpen the documentation website.
Demo Time: Create a new demo fileCreate a new demo file.
Demo Time: StartStarts the demo or runs the next demo step.
Demo Time: PreviousGo back to the previous demo step (only in presentation mode and when the demoTime.previousEnabled setting is enabled).
Demo Time: Add demo stepAdd the current selection as a demo step to the demo file.
Demo Time: ResetReset all the demos.
Demo Time: Start countdownStart the countdown clock (you need to define the time in the demoTime.timer setting).
Demo Time: Reset countdownReset the countdown clock.
Demo Time: Toggle presentation modeToggle the presentation mode. In this mode you’ll be able to use your clicker or arrow keys for the Demo Time: Start and Demo Time: Previous commands.
Demo Time: Show presenter viewOpen the presenter view which you can detach and move to another screen while presenting.
Demo Time: Add new action to demo stepAdd a new demo step. You can only trigger this command when you have a demo JSON file opened.
Demo Time: Toggle highlightToggle the highlight on and off when the current demo included a highlight action.
Demo Time: Create a slideCreate a new slide. Used for the slides functionality.
Demo Time: Create a snapshotCreate a snapshot from the current file. Used for the Patch actions.
Demo Time: Create a patchCreate a patch from the current file. Used for the Patch actions.
Demo Time: Toggle highlight of current line or selectionToggle the highlight of the current line or selection.
Demo Time: Toggle presentation view (hides status bar, tabs, and activity bar)Toggles the presentation view which hides status bar, tabs, and activity bar.
Demo Time: Open slide previewWhen you are on a slide source file, you can run this command to open the preview of the slide.
Demo Time: Export slides to PDFExport all your slides to a PDF file which you can share with your audience.
Demo Time: Import PowerPoint Images as SlidesImport images from a PowerPoint presentation as slides. More information on PowerPoint import.
